Madison and Baxter
These are our favorite pictures of our mascot Madison and her new brother Baxter|
Photo Credit: Dr. Olson This was Baxter's first experience with ice and he had a lot of fun. He decided he preferred walking on the ice if he had a choice! |

Photo Credit: Dave Olson Baxter loved the deep snow - he plowed through and leaped like a (very short) deer. He exhausted himself, and slept for hours afterwards. |
Photo Credit: Dr. Olson Madison had lots of fun a few years ago when we took her snowshoeing for the first time. This time, she got cold feet (literally) and we had to send her inside before we were done. It was cold and the snow was pretty deep for a Dachshund! |
Photo Credit: Dr. Olson Baxter always loves to go. Anywhere. He did not know we were going snowshoeing in 15 inches of snow! He loved running around in the snow, and liked the "Dachshund paths" we made with our snowshoes. |

Photo Credit: Dr. Olson This was Baxter's first real exposure to snow. There was 6 inches on the ground when we arrived, and it snowed for a day or two - we ended up with 15 inches! It is very cold here but he likes the snow... |

Photo Credit: Dr. Olson Sometimes Baxter prefers to hop up into the upper carrier so he has a great view... |
