We've been busy!

I have to apologize for the lack of recent entries. My son Ben got married last weekend (it was a beautiful and amazing day, and we welcomed Casey Board Olson with lots of love). And both my husband Dave and I have been battling the Dragon King of cold/flu viruses for the last 3 weeks. And we had the house to clean, wedding company and family to meet, greet, entertain, etc. It has been a very busy time!

On the hospital front, the veterinary conference we went to early this month gave us some terrific new information, particularly about some new products and new techniques for anesthesia which we have already begun using. We have added a local ‘line’ block (using a small amount of local anesthetic at the incision site) for all our surgeries, and it has made an amazing difference during and after surgery. Our patients are so much more comfortable!

We also got information and have ordered and started using new probiotics for cats and dogs (very pleased with the results), a new joint care gel for cats, brushless oral health care products for cats and dogs (ask us about these -we have a few samples and trial size kits), and more.
